Meet Mom

Welcome!

I’m Megan, a first-time mom to a very handsome yet slightly high-maintenance boy, Hunter.

My husband, Chris, and I have been married since April 2007 and met studying abroad in Australia our junior year of college (in 2000).

We currently live in Harrisburg, PA, with our son Hunter, and our pup Nylah.

Why the blog?

While many parents are very diligent about filling out a baby book, I realized that on-line journaling works better for me. At first I couldn’t wait to fill out every page of our baby book in complete detail and include photos out the wazoo, but 5 months after Hunter’s birth I only have 3 pages filled out and it doesn’t contain any photos. Oops. My intentions were good early on but neither Chris nor I are the best at staying on top of stuff like that.

This blog is a way for me to chronicle Hunter’s milestones and daily shenanigans. It’s essentially an online baby book! The first few months I was home with Hunter I would keep things in mind to write in the baby book but would never get around to it. Pen and paper just don’t work as well for me as typing on a keypad does.

I stay at home with Hunter and every day is quite the adventure with him considering he isn’t quite as easy going and calm as I thought he would be! He sure does like to keep me on my toes! And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
